To The Daily Sun,

What makes Travis run?

Travis O'Hara, a popular two-term state representative from Belmont, had decided not to seek another term. He wanted to devote more time to his young family and to his job as a Belmont selectboard member.

Then he saw who was running for his seat — unopposed: A candidate who represents many of the same extremist values as Michael Sylvia, who O'Hara soundly defeated in 2022.

O’Hara knows that Belmont’s citizens deserve better. So, he has launched a write-in campaign.

Belmont voters should do the right thing for their town by writing in Travis O’Hara for state representative.
