We have always known that Fire Chief Ken Erickson and Laconia firefighters are dedicated, hard-working, and brave men and women. But on Sunday, Feb. 28, at 4 a.m. we at the Village at Winnipesaukee, experienced this firsthand.
These brave, heroic, selfless firefighters from Laconia and surrounding towns saved our complex. Because of their quick and skilled response, the fire was confined to one unit with limited damage to several others. Most importantly and remarkably, nobody was injured.
We are proud of, and grateful Chief Ken Erickson and to all of these crucial members of our community.
There is no way to truly thank you all adequately.
