To the editor,
Just a quick reminder to the voters in Alton regarding articles #19 & #38. I urge you to vote NO on both of these articles. The petitioned article was changed at the Deliberative Session. The majority of the past Beach Committee felt it was in the best interest of the town to transfer the $25,000 in the Beach Capital Reserve Fund to maintenance of the existing town beach on the bay, which is what the original petition stated.
