To the editor,

Can we please stop debating health care, the N.H. Music Festival and Doug Lambert long enough to think of our fellow townspeople who are struggling during this holiday season? Our local food banks are overwhelmed by the volume of requests for support, our local humane society is overrun with pets needing food until they find new homes, all of our local nonprofits need whatever support we can provide them as the holidays demand more of all of us.

I urge everyone to dig deep and think how we can help those less fortunate than ourselves and truly the experience the thanks in thanksgiving and the wonder of the holidays.
