To The Daily Sun,

Recently two events occurred in Meredith that deserve recognition.

First, by placing the "coyotes" in Hesky and Scenic Park and ridding us of the Canada geese that were causing not only a mess but a health hazard, the Meredith town manager, Phil Warren, deserves high praise. Residents and visitors can now stroll through and enjoy the lake, scenery and sculpture in our lovely parks.

The second recognition is to the Department of Public Works, which in three days was able to achieve the resurfacing of Main Street without disrupting the town and its residents. They even had the lines painted on the last day. The organization of how this project was completed is to be commended and thanks and appreciation are to be given to Mike Faller, director of Public Works, and his amazing crew.

Many thanks to Phil Warren, Mike Faller and the DPW crew for continuing to keep Meredith a great place to live, work and play.
