John McCain has selected a VP running mate that is not only a maverick in her own right, but more importantly a leader with the kind of gumption and guts this country needs as we continue into the 21st century. Sarah Paulin is the head of the Alaska National Guard so she knows what it means to deploy the men and women of Alaska into harm’s way and support them. As the Mother of a soldier son heading to Iraq, she knows the heartache and sacrifice of Americans make every day for our freedom. Unlike Barack Obama or Joe Biden, she has executive experience and this is of crucial importance. Governor Palin has been able to back up her words with real concrete actions through executive power.

McCain-Palin is a team ready to lead, seasoned with experience and records of achievement. The time has come for a qualified woman to lead our country. Sarah Palin's record is unblemished and her accomplishments remarkable. Now that Senator McCain has chosen his running mate, I am more certain than ever that he should be our next leader. Women of New Hampshire can now unite behind a man and a WOMAN who will be the type of leaders this country deserves.
