To the editor,

Rudy Giuliani was in Manchester on Saturday speaking about an issue of great importance to families in New Hampshire: taxes.

When he was Mayor of New York City, Rudy stood up against the Democrats and cut taxes an astounding 23 times. With New Yorkers keeping more of their own money, they were able pump resources into the City?s economy ? creating about 423,000 new jobs. During the Giuliani administration, the unemployment rate in the City dropped by more than half.

New Hampshire residents take pride in keeping taxes low, and so does Rudy Giuliani. He is the only candidate in the race who has a successful and consistent record of scrapping taxes that cripple our economy.

As President, Rudy will continue the fight against taxes. I encourage New Hampshire voters to give him their strongest consideration.
