To the editor,
Robert (Bob) Farah is a honest nice helpful man. He runs the food pantry at the church, he has supported the church and works endless hours as the pastor. People volunteer at the church to do the pantry and no money is exchanged for services he offers. I was in need of food and tried to give Pastor Bob money and he would not accept it for the food.
I don't think Bob is as involved as most think. Yes, Bob does support his son as he should, it is his son. I am sure he has talked highly about the company but I don't believe he is knowledgeable of wrong doing. Bob is at the church most of the time.
Before we hit hard times and moved an hour from his church we did offerings as members and volunteered time for the food and clothing ministries. I think Bobs son, Scott, was overwhelmed by the companies and I feel he just kept investing and loosing money and could not get out of debt fast to repay debts.
The lady that stood up in service and question Bob was wrong in doing it at that time, wait until after service next time. People are trying to seek God and be peaceful, please show respect for the church building and people, it is God's house,
David Conrad
