Over his 18-year senate career, John Kerry has fought to raise the minimum wage, outlaw striker replacement and provided workers with Family and Medical Leave to spend time with a new child or to care for a family member without fear of losing their job. He helped defeat Republican efforts to gut OSHA, weaken worker safety rules and cut funding from worker training programs.
Under the current Bush administration, 3 million jobs have been lost. John Kerry wants to put America back to work by creating American jobs through building infrastructure, school modernization, and environmental clean up.
