To the editor,

In the March 31 edition there was a short letter from Mr. Cracraft concerning the terms “Civil Unions and “Marriage” and he asked the question, ”Is separate really equal?”( He was referring to the Topeka Kansas Board of Education Supreme Court ruling.) I guess it would depend on, ”what your definition of is..IS ?” In this case at least here in N.H. (You’re not in Kansas anymore Toto.) I believe the majority would support equal rights in “every” way for gay couples except for the word “marriage”.

Marriage “IS” between a man and woman. Always has been and always will be. The majority of people in N.H. are good, understanding, caring, giving folks who just believe in doing the right thing and if such a decision had to be made by the governor of N.H. I’m sure he would represent the vast majority of N.H. and do the Right Thing.
