There were no injuries when a pickup truck slid off Pease Road between Parade Road and Route 104 on Sunday afternoon in Meredith.
The truck sustained damage of less than $1,000 in the single-vehicle accident.
A red GMC Sierra pickup truck reportedly slid off the roadway in slick conditions around 1:15 p.m. on Dec. 14, Meredith Sgt. William Goulet said Monday.
A surprise snow storm hit the Lakes Region on Sunday morning.
And State Police and local partners responded to a vehicle fire on Interstate 93.
At 6:31 p.m. on Sunday, State Police dispatchers received a report of a vehicle on fire on I-93 near Exit 23 in New Hampton.
State Troopers from Troop D barracks responded, located the vehicle and cleared it from the road, with the assistance of officers from the New Hampton Police Department, according to State Police spokesperson Michal Sventek on Monday afternoon.
The right-hand lane was closed for about 15 minutes during the cleanup. There were no injuries reported and the incident is under active police investigation.
