CONCORD — A woman sentenced in Grafton County Superior Court for receiving stolen property is wanted in New Hampshire for violating probation, as well as in Vermont for failing to comply with the Vermont Sex Offender Registry.

Michelle L. Deaette, 33, is wanted for an outstanding warrant for a violation of probation from a conviction of receiving stolen property valued at $1,501 or less. She was sentenced in Grafton County Superior Court on Aug. 27, for receiving stolen property, and reported for probation when she was released on Oct. 2. However, Deaette has not checked in with her probation officer since the first meeting, and a warrant for her arrest was issued on Oct. 31.

Deaette is also a registered sex offender from Vermont, but has failed to enroll in the state sex offender registry. The State of Vermont has issued an arrest warrant for Deaette for failing to appear in court, as well as failing to comply with the registry.

Deaette has an extensive criminal history that includes failing to comply with the Vermont Sex Offender Registry, theft, forgery, escape, possession of controlled drugs, and lying to police.

She is listed as 5' 2", 165 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. Deaette has several tattoos, including a heart with “1935-2000” on her left forearm; “Charlie” and “Melissa” on her left wrist; “Zachariah” and “Kristen” on her right forearm; and a neck star with “Destiny” and “Shawty.”

According to staff of the NH Department of Corrections, Deaette has ties to the twin states. The Grafton County Sheriff’s Department declined to release where she's from.

Authorities are asking the public to not attempt to apprehend Deaette themselves, and report any information to the NHDOC at 603-271-1804, the Grafton County Sheriff at 603-787-2111, or by contacting the nearest police department by calling 911.
