Laconia High School varsity girls basketball team members, shown here during a Feb. 5 home game win 54-14 against Sanborn, will host a Division II quarter-final playoff game at 7 p.m. on Saturday. The Sachems finished the regular season as the first seed in the tournament, and will host eighth-seeded Pelham. The winner of that game will face either Pembroke or Oyster River in the semi-final, which will be played Wednesday, March 12, at Pinkerton Academy. The championship will be decided at the University of New Hampshire on Saturday, March 15. (Daniel Sarch/The Laconia Daily Sun photo)
