A Laconia woman was injured but her two passengers were unhurt when the Jeep Liberty she was driving rolled over after leaving the pavement on the Route 3 and 11 Bypass near the Morrill Street bridge shortly before noon yesterday.
Linda Romolo, 53, was taken to Lakes Region General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Her passengers, Timothy Benwell of Gilford and Leland Leclerc of Franklin, both 18, were evaluated at the scene of the accident by personnel of Gilford Fire Rescue and released.
Officer Stephen Colcord, who is investigating the accident, said the slippery road conditions appear to have contributed significantly to it, but urged any witnesses to the incident to contact him at the Gilford Police Department, 527-4737.
