Two Lakes Region football teams went all the way to the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association championship this past weekend in Exeter for a fierce, head-to-head battle on the gridiron, with the Gilford Golden Eagles taking home the trophy after a hard-earned 20-6 win against the Laconia Sachems on Saturday. Notable Golden Eagles include Mark Uicker (8), Lukas Diaz (4) and Ryder Henning (72). Brandt O’Hara is the Golden Eagles' head coach for the 2025-26 season.Â
