FRANKLIN — A man charged with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of James Brock, 24, formerly of Jackson, Mississippi, is being held without bail at the Merrimack County House of Corrections. Richard Tripaldi, 26, waived arraignment in Merrimack County Superior Court Wednesday afternoon on alternate counts of knowing and reckless second-degree murder for causing the death of Brock on June 21.

Jason Casey, Assistant Attorney General, said that Tripaldi, who was arrested earlier Wednesday, entered a plea of not guilty.

Tripaldi agreed to be held without bail and a bail hearing is set for Aug. 28 in Merrimack County Superior Court.
