A story that appeared on page 11 of Wednesday’s edition of the Sun entitled “Unacceptable levels of lead found in water from West Alton residential wells” contained a huge geographical error. The wells, which were correctly identified as being in the area around Old Wolfeboro Road, are located in East Alton. We apologize to both sides of two for our mistake. — The editor
