BRISTOL — Town Clerk Raymah Simpson has announced the openings for elected positions, with the filing period beginning on Jan. 24 and running through Feb. 2.

To qualify as a candidate, residents must be registered voters in the town of Bristol.

Openings include one selectman for three years; four three-year positions on the Bristol Budget Committee; three library trustees for three years; moderator for two years; trustee of trust funds for three years; and cemetery trustee for three years.

Residents may file during regular office hours, with the hours extended to 5 p.m. on the last day.

The deadline for submitting petitioned warrant articles is Feb. 6 at 5 p.m.
