A 23-year-old city man was arrested on Saturday and charged with the unarmed robbery of of a Laconia woman on December 14. Mark Marceau of 63 High Street, No. 4, is facing a Class B felony charge of robbery. He was held at the Belknap County Jail over the weekend, pending a Monday arraignment is Laconia District Court.
Police believe Marceau is the man who knocked a woman to the ground on Elliott Street and stole her purse. His arrest ends a two-month-long investigation into the incident.
