WOLFEBORO — A motorcyclist from Alton has been charged with operating under the influence after crashing late Saturday night.
According to a press release issued by Wolfeboro police, emergency services were called to Route 28, near the Alton town line, at 11:21 p.m. on June 8 for a report of a motorcycle crash with possible serious injury.
Responders determined a 2023 Indian Pursuit motorcycle operated by Albert Caissie Jr., 57, of Alton, was traveling south on the highway when Caissie lost control and was thrown from the vehicle. No other vehicles or people were involved in the crash.
Caissie, who was transported to Huggins Hospital for treatment, was also charged with aggravated DUI, an enhanced penalty brought when impaired operation results in damage or injury.
