BELMONT — A motor vehicle accident forced the closure of a portion of Route 106 Friday afternoon, according to the Belmont Police Department.
The department announced the road would be closed down for “an extended period” of time between Plummer Hill and Leavitt Road on their Facebook page just after 2 p.m.
They advised drivers to seek alternative routes.
