NORTH HAVERHILL — Kyle R. Adamson, 21, of Windham, is facing a Class B felony charge of second-degree assault for allegedly strangling his girlfriend in Plymouth last February.
A Grafton County Superior Court Grand Jury handed up an indictment on the charge at its June session.
An indictment is not a finding of guilt, but an independent jury’s decision, after hearing from police, that sufficient evidence exists to warrant a court trial.
The charge alleges that Adamson grabbed the woman about the throat, impeding her ability to breathe.
Also indicted on June 21 were Jessica Evans, 34, of Weare, and Matthew Gedney, 36, of Goffstown, on Class A felony charges arising from an April robbery in Alexandria.
Police allege that, while wearing masks, the two entered the victim's home on April 4, with Gedney threatening him with a handgun while Evans displayed a baseball bat. They forced him to open a safe and placed $100,000 in cash into a backpack before leaving his home. Gedney had been released on bail in Merrimack County Superior Court on March 25, and Evans had been released on bail in Merrimack County on March 29.
Katherine Drouin, 41, of Plymouth was indicted on the Class B felony of theft by unauthorized taking after having been convicted twice in the past on theft charges. Police allege that Drouin stole merchandise, including bags of chips, from the Plymouth Mobil Mart on Feb. 14.
