LACONIA — Police handled 60 service calls during the 24-hour period ending at noon Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Two people were arrested.

Colin C. Dowling, 32, of Borough Road, in Canterbury, was arrested on charges of being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, and carrying or selling weapons. Dowling was also arrested on a bench warrant.

Kevin A. Cram, 33, no fixed address, was arrested on a bench warrant.

Officers made nine motor vehicle stops, and investigated a traffic accident on Endicott Street East.

Three calls dealt with juvenile matters.

Police investigated a report of an assault at Woodland Heights School.

The report of the theft of a motor vehicle on Truland Street was investigated.

Police investigated a report of a possible drug violation.

Officers responded to three disturbance calls.
