LACONIA — Police handled 87 service calls from 8 a.m. Tuesday until 8 a.m. Thursday.

Six people were arrested.

William R. Slocum, 36, no fixed address, was arrested on several warrants.

Talia A. Moore, 36, of Cherry Street, in Belmont, was arrested on several bench warrants.

Mark Smith, 32, of Phoenician Way, in Laconia, was arrested on charges of domestic violence simple assault, domestic violence false imprisonment, and domestic violence obstructing the report of a crime or injury.

Scott A. Beaumont, 44, no fixed address, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled drug with intent to sell, being in control of premises where drugs were being kept, and for being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.

Samantha Shada, 26, of Union Avenue, in Laconia was arrested on charges of possession of fentanyl with intent to sell, possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, dealing/possession of prescription drugs, possession of an unspecified controlled drug with intent to sell, possession of a controlled drug, possession of marijuana, interfering with a fire alarm apparatus, and common nuisance (keeping or maintaining a place where drugs are kept, sold, or used).

Heather D. Paul, 32, no fixed address, was arrested on a charge of being in control of premises where drugs were being kept.

Officers made 31 motor vehicle stops which resulted in 28 drivers being given written warnings.

Three calls dealt with juvenile matters.

Police investigated reports of thefts at Opechee Park, on South Main Street and on Cinnamon Lane.

A report of harassment on Bowman Street was investigated.

Police investigated a report of vandalism on Mitchell Place.

Two reports of restraining order violations were investigated.

Police responded to eight disturbance calls, including two classified as domestic disturbances.
