GILFORD — Police handled 156 service calls from last Friday through Monday.

Nine people were arrested.

Joshua S. Colby, 24, of Mount Major Hwy in Alton Bay, was arrested on a charge of driving after license revoked or suspended.

Christopher Lee Couch, 25, of 29A Windymere Drive in Epsom, was arrested on a warrant, and on a charge of simple assault with physical contact or bodily injury.

Leroy H. Boynton III, 53, of Tranquility Turn in Laconia, was arrested on bench warrants.

Dennis B. Gray, 50, of Meredith, was arrested on a warrant.

Leo M. Hanson Jr., 54, of 187 Country Club Road in Laconia, was arrested on charges of driving after having been certified an habitual offender, and breach of bail.

Travis P. Irish, 33, of Cleavland Place in Laconia, was arrested on a charge of driving after license revoked or suspended. 

Edgar Lara-Ramos, 34, of Leah Lane in Fort Worth, Texas, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass.

Joseph T. Lemieux, 55, of 371 Route 115 in Carroll, was arrested on charges of driving after license revoked or suspended, suspension of vehicle registration, and possession of a controlled drug, schedule 1-4. 

Vicki Diane Stewart, 60, of 92 Greenleaf Trail in Gilford, was arrested after a motor vehicle accident on a charge of driving under the influence and impairment.

Danielle M. Cangialose, 29, of 1314 Cherry Valley Road in Gilford, was issued a summons on a charge of driving after license revoked or suspended. 

One person was taken into protective custody for intoxication, 10 other reports of intoxication were investigated, and a report of criminal mischief was investigated at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion.

Officers made 49 motor vehicle stops, investigated a traffic accident on Old Lakeshore Road, investigated eight abandoned vehicles, investigated a stolen automobile, and assisted four motorists.

Police investigated reports of assault on Meadowbrook Lane, Lakeshore Road, and Belknap Mountain Road.

Officers responded to reports of criminal threatening on Old Lakeshore Road and Lakeshore Road.

Police investigated three reports of harassment on Cherry Valley Road.

Reports of suspicious persons were investigated on Harris Shore Road, Lakeshore Road, Belknap Mountain Road, and Hounsell Ave.

One matter dealing with a juvenile was investigated.

Dog and animal complaints were investigated on Lakeshore Road and Intervale Road.

Three police escorts were requested. 

Police responded to two requests for the fire department, 12 requests for an ambulance, and four reports dealing with mentally ill persons.  

Officers responded to six domestic disturbance calls, and 27 other disturbances.
