CONCORD — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is seeking the public's help in locating fugitive Richard P. Labbe, wanted for absconding from state supervision after release on bail from a Massachusetts prison.
Labbe, 57, is wanted by the DOC for parole violations stemming from manslaughter charges. A warrant was issued for his arrest in July 2020.
Labbe is white, stands 5’10” tall and weighs about 245 pounds, with hazel-colored eyes and brown hair, or may be bald.
His criminal history stretches between NH and Massachusetts and includes charges related to manslaughter and kidnapping. He has a documented history of absconding from state supervision.
Labbe’s last known location was the Worcester House of Corrections in Massachusetts until his release in December 2020, on $1,000 cash bail. He immediately absconded from supervision upon his release, according to the DOC.
“He has a history of abuse of illegal substances, which have resulted in violent tendencies,” a press release read.
Labbe pleaded guilty in June 2002 to a manslaughter charge connected to the 2001 killing of a man in Newmarket, according to Seacoastonline.com.
Labbe has tattoos and scars on his abdomen, both arms, his right shoulder across his chest and New England Patriots tattoos on both arms.
Do not attempt to approach or apprehend Labbe. Report any information to the NH Department of Corrections at 603-271-1804.
