WOLFEBORO — Pedestrians were injured in two independent vehicle crashes on Tuesday, according to Police Chief Christopher Warn.Â
Both incidents are under investigation.Â
Two separate motor vehicle collisions were reported to police, fire and New Hampshire State Police, at 9:11 a.m., and approximately 11:10 a.m. on March 31, leaving pedestrians injured, according to a media release. State Police spokesperson Tyler Dumont referred inquiries to town police.Â
The first incident occurred on North Main Street near Lake Street, Warn wrote in the release. The second occurred near the entrance to The Ledges, an apartment complex located at 67 Center St.
In both cases, pedestrians were injured and taken by Stewart’s Ambulance Service and Wolfeboro Fire/Rescue for evaluation and treatment to Huggins and Portsmouth hospitals, respectively.
The drivers involved in both incidents are cooperating with the ongoing investigation, Warn wrote. He did not return a request for information.Â
Anyone who witnessed the collisions or who has video footage from those locations is asked to contact Det. Cpl. Joseph Shanks at the Wolfeboro Police Department at 603-569-1444 or jshanks@wolfeboropolice.gov.
