The Four Seasons finally has a return date in sight as Netflix unveils the official premiere date for Season 2 of the hit comedy from Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield.
Along with sharing the premiere date, Netflix is also revealing first-look photos of the cast back in action as they continue to bring the laughs audiences look forward to. As viewers will recall, the series, which is inspired by the 1981 film starring Alan Alda and Carol Burnett, followed four couples in four separate seasons of the year as they traveled together to different locations, whether it was a family lakehouse, college town, or ski lodge. When will The Four Seasons Season 2 premiere?
The Four Seasons will officially return for Season 2 on Thursday, May 28, with eight all-new episodes for fans to sink their teeth into. The release date announcement comes months after it was teased that production had commenced on the show’s latest chapter in late September 2025. “Our bags are so packed. Season 2 of #TheFourSeasons is now in production!” the Instagram post was captioned. Now, fans can metaphorically pack their bags to take a trip when Season 2 arrives this spring.

Tina Fey, Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Marco Calvani, Kerri Kenney-Silver, and Erika Henningsen will all reprise their roles as Kate, Jack, Danny, Claude, Anne, and Ginny, respectively. It’s unclear at this time if Steve Carell will return in his role as Nick via flashback, as fans will recall, [Spoiler] his character died at the end of Season 1.
What will The Four Seasons Season 2 be about?
The Four Seasons Season 2 will once again follow six friends on four different vacations throughout the course of a year. Further details haven’t been revealed by Netflix, but as teased at the end of Season 1, Ginny was pregnant with Nick’s baby, leaving his group of friends and ex-wife Anne to help support her. We imagine Season 2 will tackle these storylines further, but fans will have to tune in to find out.
