‘Ted Lasso’ Season 4 Sets Premiere Date as Apple Unveils First Look at Show’s Return (PHOTOS)

Ted Lasso Season 4 has officially set a return window at Apple TV as the streamer teases when the long-awaited chapter is set to arrive on screens.

Jason Sudeikis returns as the titular coach in all-new images revealing reunions and fun to come with some new characters. As filming continues, Apple has unveiled several exciting details about Season 4 for fans to dig into, ranging from casting and plot to teasers and much more. When will Ted Lasso Season 4 premiere?

After Season 3’s arrival in spring 2023, Ted Lasso is officially making a Season 4 comeback. Production officially began in Kansas City as teased in the first-look photo below. Filming has also taken place in London and Richmond in the months since the first tease in July 2025, and is ongoing as of January 2026, but Apple has promised that Season 4 will arrive in Summer 2026 with an exact date yet-to-be-revealed, so stay tuned.

No, there aren’t any trailers available yet, but Apple TV did release several first-look images of Jason Sudeikis back in character alongside returning star Hannah Waddingham, and some new faces, as seen above and below.

What has been said about Ted Lasso‘s Season 4 renewal?

In a statement, Sudeikis, star and executive producer, said, “As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap.’ In Season 4, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be.”

Matt Cherniss, Apple TV’s head of programming, added, “Ted Lasso has been nothing short of a juggernaut, inspiring a passionate fanbase all over the world, and delivering endless joy and laughter, all while spreading kindness, compassion, and unwavering belief. Everyone at Apple is thrilled to be continuing our collaboration with Jason and the brilliant creative minds behind this show.”

Who is making Ted Lasso Season 4?

Sudeikis will serve as an executive producer alongside new addition Jack Burditt who joins Brendan Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, Bill Wrubel, Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold, and Liza Katzer. Meanwhile, Brett Goldstein and Leanne Bowen will also executive produce and serve as writers alongside Julia Lindon and co-producers Sara Walker and Phoebe Walsh. And Dylan Marron is slated to serve as story editor.

Who stars in Ted Lasso Season 4?

As mentioned above, Jason Sudeikis is reprising his titular role alongside other returning stars, including Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift, with newcomers Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely, who is stepping in as Ted’s son, Henry. Meanwhile, Phil Dunster was spotted on the Season 4 set in Richmond, seemingly hinting at Jamie Tartt’s return, but no official confirmation has been made on that end.

Will Ted Lasso Season 4 be the show’s last season?

Brett Goldstein appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live in June 2025 to discuss his HBO comedy special, during which he offered some interesting comments on Ted Lasso. When Kimmel pointed out to Goldstein that the cast had previously gotten emotional celebrating their third and “final” season, he wanted to know if Goldstein thought the show was really over then. “We did all cry, and we did all hug, but I also think if I’m honest, a lot of us, when we were hugging, said, ‘We’ll come back, won’t we?'”

Ultimately, Goldstein admitted, “I felt like we’d come back, but I didn’t know.”  When Kimmel wondered if the upcoming fourth season would be the show’s last, Goldstein responded with silence and raised eyebrows, noting that it was more of a question for Apple than him, “I think we’d love to do it forever, but I think there’s a limit…” he said.
