LACONIA — Now an annual event connecting family resource centers across the Granite State, New Hampshire Children’s Trust's Ride for Resilience highlights family strength and the many ways New Hampshire's network of support helps build individual, family and community resiliency.
On Friday, Oct. 13, seven riders will hop on their bicycles and pedal 100 miles throughout New Hampshire's Lake's Region to raise awareness about the statewide resources available to all families in the state. They will travel through Laconia.
The ride helps the organzation raise awareness about work being done to prevent child neglect and abuse.
Ride founder and Children's Trust Board Member Mark Knights and fellow participants will begin the journey at Whole Village in Plymouth. They will then head towards Lakes Region Community Services in Laconia, and Archways in Tilton and Franklin. The ride will conclude in Plymouth for a celebratory gathering.
