BELMONT — Yvon J. Cloutier Jr., 73, of Belmont, passed away on April 15, 2026, following a heart attack, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on Jan. 18, 1953, in Plymouth, he was the middle child of Ivon and MaryLou Cloutier. He spent his childhood in Lincoln, and graduated from Lin-Wood High School in 1971. He later attended NHTI, earning an associate’s degree in banking.

On July 13, 1974, he married the love of his life, Judith, and together they shared 51 years of marriage and built a life centered around family and hard work. Yvon spent many years in the restaurant industry alongside his wife and children, proudly owning and operating several family businesses, including The Country Mile in Lincoln (1980-87), The Sidewalk Café in Bristol (1992-2005), and Granny Judy’s Kitchen in Franklin (2006-21).

He is survived by his wife, Judith, and his four children, Joseph of Plymouth, Matthew of Concord, Mary and her husband Robert Orlep of Pelham, and Benjamin and his wife Lisa of Franklin. He is also survived by his brother, Rick Cloutier and his wife Marna of Alabama; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Kathleen Yeargle.

Yvon was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Parish in Belmont. He especially treasured his grandchildren and was known for always offering guidance and advice as they grew.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 27, at St. Joseph Parish in Belmont, followed by a repast in the parish hall.

Burial will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Food Pantry, c/o St. Joseph Parish, P.O. Box 285, Belmont, NH 03220.
