FRANKLIN — Veronica I. McNally-Fredette, 91, of 24 Damy Drive in Franklin died Friday, August 31, 2007 at the Franklin Regional Hospital in Franklin following a period of failing health. She was born in Laconia, October 21, 1915, daughter of Joseph H. and Ida (Jacques) LaVertue. She lived in Plymouth for several years before moving to Franklin in 1952. She was a waitress for several years at the former Steve Barry's Diner in Franklin. She later worked at Mica Shop in Franklin and for over 14 years with Cormier Hosiery in Franklin, Belmont and Laconia. She was a parishioner of St. Paul Church in Franklin.

Veronica was predeceased by her first husband, Frank McNally in 1969 and her second husband, Wildred Fredette in 1994. Her family includes two daughters, Frances J. Brooks of Northfield and Joanne T. Swain of Tilton; two sons, Thomas J. McNally of Bossier City, Louisiana and Michael J. McNally of Belleville, Illinois; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one nephew; and three step-children, Walter J. Fredette of Vermont, Pauline T. Wilmot of Nashua, Mary C. Nadeau of Franklin.

Calling hours will be Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road in Tilton.

A funeral service will be held at the Memorial Home Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Franklin.
