Tyler D. Wade, 24
MEREDITH — Tyler Douglas Wade, 24, of Tamworth and Meredith, died suddenly of a pulmonary embolism on Feb. 8, 2016, at Memorial Hospital in North Conway.
He leaves behind his older brother, Joshua Wade of Keene; his mother, Dawn Stone, of Tamworth; and his father, Chuck Wade and his wife Patricia, both of Meredith. He is also survived by his grandmother, Ruth Verrocchi of Middleboro, Massachusetts; and his grandfather, Charles F. Wade Sr. of Charleston, South Carolina, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tyler was an Inter-Lakes High School graduate, class of 2010, and received an associate's degree in technical theater from Johnson State College, Johnson, Vermont. He then went on to receive his degree as a licensed alcohol and drug counselor from New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord.
Tyler worked as lead carpenter for the Barnstormers in Tamworth. He volunteered for many years at the Inter-Lakes Middle Tier as well as the High School theater department. He also volunteered for many years at The Village Players in Wolfeboro.
Tyler enjoyed target shooting, being outdoors, spending time with his family friends and his dog, Gertie. Tyler was loved by all who met him.
A Celebration of Tyler's life will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Carriage House at Church Landing in Meredith.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tyler Douglas Wade Memorial Scholarship Fund at any MVSB branch or at MVSB, PO Box 177, Meredith, NH 03253. The scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing an education in theater.
