Robert W. Beauchemin, 86

LACONIA — Robert William Beauchemin, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, passed away peacefully in Concord, on Sept. 1, 2026. He was born on June 7, 1940, in Franklin.

Robert dedicated 36 years of his life to working as a lineman for New England Telephone. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication throughout his many years of service. His career was an important part of his life, and he made lasting friendships along the way.

Robert enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and loved staying active and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed walking, riding his bicycle, skiing, hunting and fishing. Whether enjoying the quiet of a fishing spot, the excitement of a day skiing, or simply taking a walk or bike ride, Robert appreciated being outdoors and making memories along the way.

Above all, Robert cherished his family. He shared a loving life with his wife, Sandra Ann Gauthier Beauchemin, who was by his side throughout their years together. He took great pride and joy in his family and treasured the time spent with them.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Sandra Ann Gauthier Beauchemin; his son, Mark Richard Beauchemin and his wife Ann Marie Beauchemin; his grandson, Alec James Beauchemin; his great-grandson, Maverick James Beauchemin; brother Norman Beauchemin and his wife Earline Beauchemin; and sister Yvette Greene and her husband Harvey of Rhode Island. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish their memories of him.

Robert was predeceased by his parents, Francis Beauchemin and Germaine (Aube) Beauchemin, and his daughter-in-law, Tracy A. Beauchemin.

Robert will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love, kindness, hard work, and the memories he created with those he loved will remain in their hearts forever.

A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, at the St. Andre Bessette Parish — Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave., Laconia, New Hampshire.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 11 a.m. at St. Andre Bessette Parish - Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Union Cemetery, 176 Academy St.
