Robert R. Clark, 66
MEREDITH — Robert R. Clark, 66, of Meredith, passed away Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, with his family by his side.
Born March 17, 1951, in Milford, Connecticut, he grew up in Trumbull, Connecticut. He was the son of the late Howard and Jean Clark.
Having been in the automotive industry for more than 30 years at Center Auto Parts in Stratford, Connecticut, and Milford, Connecticut, and Main Auto in Bridgeport, Connecticut, he continued to stay in the industry after moving to New Hampshire. At the time of his death Robert was currently working for NAPA auto parts in Meredith.
Robert enjoyed his life and loved his family. Always with a smile that brightened up a room. He loved spending time with his wife Catherine in their quest for family genealogy information on their respective families. He was fun-loving, kind and a bit mischievous and looked forward to seeing his grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to remind his nieces and nephews he was their favorite uncle. As often as possible he loved traveling down to Connecticut from New Hampshire to attend family birthday parties and events, cousins' reunions or just to visit family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
Besides his loving wife Catherine, Bobby, as we all called him, leaves behind his son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Addy Clark; his daughter, Stephanie and Egidio DiCocco; three grandchildren, Gianna, Matteo, and Mia DiCocco; brother and sister-in-law, James and Mami Clark; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Sebastian Marino; nieces and nephews, Maika and Erika Clark and James, Nick and Cara Marino; sister-in-law, Martha Hickey; sister-in-law and husband, Mary and David McCowen; brother-in-law and wife, George and Patty Durden; as well as many cousins and friends and extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, Jan. 29, at 10 a.m. at Mary Taylor United Methodist Church, 176 Broad St., Milford, Connecticut. Interment will be private. Friends and family may call on Sunday, Jan. 28, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, Connecticut.
