FRIENDSVILLE, Tennessee — Robert D. Brough, 84, passed away June 4.
Robert was born on Aug. 1, 1938, in Malden, Massachusetts, to John and Ann (Mullen) Brough. He attended school in Malden and worked in construction for many years. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and attended New Hope Baptist Church in Maryville. Robert enjoyed antiquing and hiking, and loved animals, especially his dog Brooke. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1966.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ann Brough; sisters, Virginia and Denise; and brother, Walter.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda (DiBartolomeo) Brough; son, William A. Brough (Catherine) of Virginia; daughter, Kelly A. Brough of New Hampshire; grandchildren, Gabe Brough, Alexa Minor, Nicole Brough, Caelyn Brough, Julia Brough, and Ryan Brough; great-grandson, Alfi Sabillon; as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be scheduled in New Hampshire at a later date.
