EXETER — Pamela (née Hinton) Tkacz, 79, of Exeter, passed away on Nov. 20, 2025, losing her battle with dementia.

Pam was born on Feb. 26, 1946, in Lynn, Massachusetts, to Dorothy (née Samuelson) and Phillip Hinton. She grew up in Lynn, Massachusetts, and ultimately started her home in the Lakes Region area of New Hampshire. She made many moves with her girls including years spent in Texas, Massachusetts, and finally Exeter.

Her greatest achievement was being able to raise five daughters as a single mother. She was tenacious, strong, and independent. She was most proud of earning her accounting degree after decades of pursuing this goal. She was a lifelong New England sports fan, especially her beloved Patriots. She was an avid bowler, loved her iced lattes, shopping, and her favorite show, "Murder, She Wrote."

Her greatest joy was her love of family, always wanting big family gatherings. She looked forward to the weekly family Thursday night dinners and annual summer vacations on Cape Cod then on Lake Winnipesaukee, where she loved to read her newspaper and play Scrabble.

Pam is survived by her five daughters, Allison Stresing and husband Richard of Colorado, Kimberly Bolton and her husband Greg of Laconia, Robin Allard and her husband Matt of Georgia Shores, Vermont, Jennifer Harrington and her husband Brian of Exeter, and Jessica Tkacz of Exeter; her 10 grandchildren, David Stresing, Caitlin Middaugh, Kelsey Boese, Emma and Andrew Allard, Ryan, Hailey, and Jack Harrington, and Maggie and BG (Gary) Paquette; as well as her five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother and father.

The family wishes to thank the Partridge House nursing staff for their support.

At Pam's request there will be no calling hours or services. Burial at Union Cemetery in Laconia, will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's research.

Assistance with arrangements was by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, Hampton. Visit RemickGendron.com to view Pamela’s memorial website and sign her tribute wall.
