LACONIA — Marilyn J. Lemay, 74, of 30 County Drive, and formerly of 37 Turkey Drive, Belmont, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Wednesday January 2, 2008. She was the widow of Rene J. Lemay who died in 1997.
Mrs. Lemay was born April 2, 1933 in Trenton, Maine. She was the daughter of Cora (York) Higgins. She had been a resident of Laconia for the past fifty-eight years coming from Maine. Mrs. Lemay had been employed by the Laconia Shoe Company for more than fifty years.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Lemay and David Lemay; two daughters, Catherine Kimball and Diane Jellison; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Huntoon and June Smith and several nephews and nieces.
There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
A graveside service will be held in the spring in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery Laconia, NH.
The family has requested no flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Belknap County Nursing Home, 30 County Drive, Laconia, NH 03246.
