LACONIA — Karen Randall, 74, of Lakeport, recently passed away at her home.
She was born in Natick, Massachusetts, on Sept. 18, 1951, to Harold and Elsie (Bower) Duboyce, where she spent her childhood and attended school, graduating from Natick High School in 1969.
After spending several years in Ohio, Karen returned to New Hampshire in 2020, to be closer to those she loved.
Karen found happiness in life’s simple and quiet moments. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed rides in the countryside and thrifting.
Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, John Randall; brothers Harold (Mac) Duboyce and Alan Duboyce; and sister Donna Saponaro. Karen is survived by her sisters Sue and her husband Mike Fronk of Amherst, and Cherri Duboyce and partner Carl Buzzell of Danbury; as well as a loving circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her biological family, she leaves behind a second family of dear friends and neighbors at Lake Village Apartments in Lakeport.
In accordance with Karen's wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date.
