Joseph Paul Herne Sr., 73, of Rumford, Maine, passed away peacefully at his home on July 17, 2024.Â
Joe is survived by his wife of 16 years, Mia Herne; his children, Christopher, Jesse, Thomas and Joseph Jr.; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Christopher Jr., Abigail, Skyler, Gavin, Syndal and Renna; and his great-grandchildren, Dominick and Derek.
Joe will be laid to rest at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5.
