Jon Hale, 53
MOULTONBOROUGH — Jon Hale, 53, of Moultonborough passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016.
Jon prided himself in caring for his family and friends. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast who found happiness in music, especially The Grateful Dead.
He volunteered several years of his life to his community by coaching basketball where he gained lifelong relationships. His greatest joy in his life was his four girls. He took pride in being a husband, father and papa — his wife of 33 years, Lisa Blackey Hale; his oldest daughter, Ashley; his youngest daughter, Brittney and his first granddaughter, Kennedy Grace, aka Wiggly Bug.
He not only fathered his two girls, but also played the role as a second father for many, including his son-in-law, Daniel Sturgeon; and longtime family friend, Matthew Diltz.
He would give the shirt off of his back to help anyone in need even if that meant putting his own needs aside.
Jon is survived by his four girls, younger brother, Tony; father, John; mother-in-law, Ramona; father-in-law, Dick; sister-in-law, Linda; brother-in-law, Brian; nieces and nephew, Joscelyn, Kayla and Michael; along with his longtime best friend, Mike Bisson.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, Aug 20, from 3 to 7 p.m. at 346 Sheridan Road Moultonborough. Please bring with you memories and stories to share as we remember this amazing man.
