FRANKLIN — Joanne M. Blodgett, 80, of Franklin, formerly of Boscawen, died peacefully on June 27, 2022.
She was born in Revere, MA and eventually moved to Boscawen where she lived for more than 30 years.
As a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Penacook and later at St. Joseph Church in Belmont, she assisted with many church activities including the food pantry and cleaning the church and rectory. She taught CCD classes and sang in the choir. She also volunteered for various organizations.
Joanne worked for many years at McKerley Nursing Home in Penacook as a housekeeper prior to retirement.
Family members include her husband, Raymond R. Blodgett Jr. of Franklin; a son, Christopher Blodgett; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church in Belmont on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Franklin at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles to carry on the recognition and admiration of her beloved star icon, Johnny Depp (website: www.chla.org)
