Jean Stewart Wright 82 of Tilton died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Mountain Ridge Center in Franklin after a short illness. She was born in Fitchburg, Mass., daughter of the late James and Agnes Swanston.
She was a librarian, a member of the Eastern Star and member of the Peacedale Congregational Church in Rhode Island. She volunteered at the Tilton-Northfield Library and the Sanbornton Library and was a member of the Eastern Star and member of the Sanbornton Congregational Church in New Hampshire. She loved to sew, knit and do crafts.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Douglas H. Wright, and one son, Glen S. Wright and his wife Linda of Loudon, a brother-in-law and nieces and nephews in Rhode Island.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held at the Sanbornton Congregational Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 17.
