BELMONT — Gregory Scott Gilbert, 60, of Belmont, NH, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020.
Greg was born in Laconia, NH, on January 6, 1960 to Gerard F. Gilbert and Eileen Gilbert. He graduated from Belmont High School and worked in construction as a highly skilled excavator operator. He enjoyed rock music, especially 80s hair bands, and was very mechanically inclined; once even building a 1936 Chevy pickup from the ground up.
Greg was predeceased by his parents.
Greg is survived by his son, Nicholas; his brother, Edward “Chip” Gilbert, Chip’s wife, Dawn; his brother, Kevin Gilbert; his sister, Denise Goddard and her husband Greg; his sister, Nanette Sanborn and her husband Todd; and his sister, Andrea Gordon Gilbert. He is also survived by his nieces, Liana Crowell, Erica Gilbert, Jennifer Goddard, and Alexis Sanborn; as well as his nephew Jeremy Goddard.
Greg will be buried in a private family ceremony.
