BELMONT — Fenton M. Judkins, 85, of 165 Province Rd., Belmont, died at his home on Wednesday, December

29, 2004. He was the widower of Geraldine (Davidson) Judkins who died March 23, 2002.

Mr. Judkins was born February 9, 1919 in Laconia, the son of Milo F. and Carrie (Lamere) Judkins and was a lifetime resident of the Lakes Region. Mr. Judkins graduated from Laconia High School in 1938 and was employed at A. A. Jewett & Son for thirty-five years, retiring in 1981. He was a former member of the I.O.O.F.

Mr. Judkins enjoyed woodworking and perennial gardening.

Survivors include a son, Richard Judkins, of Laconia; two daughters, Karen Drouin of Belmont and Patricia Koch; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one nephew and four nieces. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by two sisters, Beatrice Judkins and Velma Chase; and by a brother, Nelson Judkins.

Those of you who knew Mr. Judkins well will honor and support his decision not to have calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held at the family lot at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, on Friday, December 31, 2004 at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main

Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
