FRANKLIN — Ellen Violet Stewart, 81, passed away Nov. 26, 2025, at the Mountain Ridge Center.
She was born Oct. 20, 1944, in Plymouth, the daughter of Richard and Violet (née Aver) Wood.
Ellen grew up in the greater Lakes Region area. She worked in manufacturing at Freudenberg, NOK. She enjoyed watching birds and playing Bingo in her free time.
She is survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law: Shirley (Luis) Jimenez, Rita (Frank) Sigman, Pat (Skip) Greene, four grandchildren: Adam, Michael, Aiden and Sarah Mae, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Alec Stewart Sr. and sons Alec Stewart Jr. and Michael Stewart.
There are no calling hours.
A celebration of life will take place in the spring of 2026.
