Eleanor M. LeBlanc, 87

FRANKLIN — Eleanor M. LeBlanc, 87, a lifelong Franklin resident, died at The Peabody Home in Franklin on July 12, 2015.

She was born in Franklin on Jan. 28, 1928, the daughter of Forrest and Eva (Clement) Sargent.

Eleanor resided in Franklin all of her life and was a graduate of Franklin High School.

Several years ago, she was employed at the Mica Shop in Franklin, Acme Staple, and lastly at Freudenberg NOK in Bristol prior to retiring.

Eleanor enjoyed cooking, gardening and was a member of the Franklin VFW Women's Auxiliary 49. She also enjoyed following auto racing.

Her husband, Roger J. LeBlanc Sr., died in 1975.

Family members include her children, Roger J. LeBlanc Jr. and his partner Elaine Bourque of Belmont, Suzanne Hersey of Henniker, and Danny LeBlanc and his wife Verniece of Waterville, Maine; six grandchildren, Cynthia Colby and husband Frank of Carver, Mass., Tina Nordeste and husband Johnny IV of Berkley, Mass., Roger LeBlanc III and wife Chelsey of Lyman, Maine, Christine Gleaton and husband Brian of Pembroke, Russell Hersey Jr. of Swanzey, and Damien LeBlanc of St. Joseph, Mich., 11 great-grandchildren; brothers Leo, Forrest "Skip," and Doug Sargent, all of Franklin; sisters Barbara Morrill and Sandi Bleggi, both of Franklin; nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Jason; sisters, Rose and Thelma Sargent, and Irene Pickard; and brothers, Clayton and Richard Sargent.

A funeral service will be held at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at 10 a.m. with burial following in Holy Cross Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
