Dorothy T. Beaupre, 77

BELMONT — Dorothy T. Beaupre, 77, of 49 Concord St., died Tuesday, April 5, 2016, in her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on June 13, 1938, in Laconia, the daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy (Locke) Vaillancourt.

Dorothy worked at Cormier Hosiery and Beede Electric for a number of years. She loved going to bingo with her sisters and spending time with her family, especially her husband.

Dorothy loved caring for three of her great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Hayden and Cameron. She will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Philip Beaupre of Belmont; two sons, David Beaupre and his wife Cecile of Northfield; and Douglas Beaupre and his wife April of Lewiston, Maine; two daughters, Debbee Hebert of Franklin, and Donna Clifford and her husband Mike of Laconia; one brother, George Vaillancourt and his wife Bea of Northfield; two sisters, Mary Jane Chase and her husband Sonny of Belmont, and Rita "Tootsie" Kimball and her husband Steve of Franklin; six grandchildren, Karen, Kelly, Brian, Siera, Alyssa, Caleb; four step-grandchildren, Ben, Aaron, Rachel and Jay; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her three brothers, Alfred, Raymond and Leo Vaillancourt; and one sister, Rose Cass.

Dorothy's family would like to extend a special thank you to her nephew, Jim Cass and his wife Kathy for providing her with many memorable and wonderful vacations to Florida and for their care and assistance during her illness. A special thanks also to Heidi, Karen and the entire staff of Central NH VNA and Hospice for their loving care and support.

Memorial calling hours will be held form 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 11, at South Road Cemetery, Belmont.
