Dean A. DeLucca, 64

DERRY — Dean Alan DeLucca, formerly of Laconia, passed away peacefully after a long, courageous battle with multiple illnesses on March 11, 2026, surrounded by his family, at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry.

Dean was born on May 8, 1961, in Laconia, the son of the late Staff Sgt. Robert P. DeLucca and Shirley Edith (Marsh) DeLucca. He was a 1980 graduate of Laconia High and received associate’s degrees in criminal justice and crime and loss prevention from Hesser College.

Dean was a proud U.S. Army veteran, who reached the rank of corporal, 26th MP CO Army/ARNG. He worked as a police officer for Meredith and Gilford police departments. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, drumming, and was also an avid history buff. He was a member of the American Legion and Free Masons, Mt. Lebanon Lodge #32.

Dean is survived by his sisters Toni Cushman and her husband John of Kingston, Massachusetts, Lori Fasshauer and her husband Alan of Laconia, and Dena DeLucca of Sanbornton; daughter Jenna DeLucca of Gilford; nieces and nephews Jason Fasshauer, Jillian Fasshauer and her partner Alex De La Cruz, Rene Camerato and her husband Mark, Jackie Cushman, Casey Cushman and Katie Fornicari; and great-nieces and nephews Jordan, Matthew, Michael, Isabelle, Viviana and Daniela. In addition to his parents, Dean is predeceased by his infant sister Tina Leigh DeLucca.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia.

Burial with military honors will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia.
