FRANKLIN — Clifford J. Brizer Jr., of Daniel Webster Drive, died on Dec. 27, 2022, at home.

Clifford was born on Sept. 12, 1933, in Belmont, to Clifford J. Brizer Sr. and Ella (Gordon) Brizer.

Clifford worked as a groundskeeper for the State of New Hampshire for many years as well as a custodian at the Gale School in Belmont. He also worked as a boat builder in a fiberglass shop for several years.

Clifford was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed gardening, mowing the lawn, hunting, camping and fishing. He cherished trips to the ocean in Maine. He was also known for his ability to fix anything with duct tape.

Clifford is survived by his three daughters, Kathleen Klinger, Lisa Hodgdon, and Ann Brizer; four grandchildren, Nichole Brizer, Lacey Hodgdon, Thomas Woodbury, and Anthony Hodgdon; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Brizer; granddaughter, Ashley Mansfield; and his two sisters, Connie St. Cyr and Lorraine Guay.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions in Clifford's name be made to Franklin VNA and Hospice, 75 Chestnut St., Franklin, NH 03235.
